Corrections and takedowns are different
If a public record contains a factual error or omission, please use Contact to request a correction. This page is for a request to remove, restrict, or otherwise review published material because of copyright, privacy, personal safety, impersonation, or another legal right.
When to use this page
- Copyright or another intellectual-property concern.
- Privacy or personal information that should not be publicly available.
- Personal safety, harassment, doxxing, non-consensual intimate imagery, or a minor-safety concern.
- Impersonation or misleading attribution.
- Another legal-rights concern that needs review.
What to email
Email [email protected] with the subject Takedown request - [affected Tectova URL or issue]. Please include only the information needed to understand and review the request:
- The affected Tectova URL or URLs.
- Your relationship to the material and any authority you have to make the request.
- A concise description of the concern and the action you are asking us to take.
- Supporting links or documents only where they help establish the request.
For copyright requests, identify the protected work and explain your authority to act for its owner. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive personal information, identity documents, or other material unrelated to the request.
Urgent safety concerns
For immediate personal-safety, doxxing, non-consensual intimate imagery, or minor-safety concerns, put URGENT at the start of the email subject and include the affected URL. Limit the message to information needed to locate and assess the material.
How we review requests
We review the information provided and may correct, restrict, remove, or decline a request after review. We may ask for enough additional information to verify authority or understand the concern. Because requests vary, we cannot promise a response time or a particular outcome.
