Information you provide

Tectova does not offer user accounts, comments, subscriptions, payment facilities, or forms that ask visitors for personal information. We do not ask you to provide your name, email address, or other contact details to browse the site.

If you email us, we receive the email address and message you choose to send. We use that information only to respond to your message or handle the request you make.

Routine site operation

Tectova's hosting and network providers process routine request information needed to deliver and secure the site. This can include the requested page, time, browser information, referring page, response status, approximate country, and IP address. Tectova may review aggregated Cloudflare traffic reports and server logs for availability, security, and performance. We do not use this information to build visitor profiles.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to Tectova. Its standard website measurement can collect page views and on-site interactions, session and traffic-source information, approximate location, and browser and device information.

We use Analytics information only to measure traffic, understand which pages and features visitors use, identify broad traffic sources, and improve the site's content and performance. We review this information as reports and statistics; we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Tectova does not sell or rent Analytics information, use it for targeted advertising, or combine it with account or customer profiles. Tectova has no such profiles. The page tag disables Google signals and advertising-personalization signals, and removes Tectova's free-text q search parameter from the page URL reported to Analytics.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga and a property-specific _ga_<container-id> cookie, to distinguish browsers and sessions. By default, Analytics refreshes their expiration when measurement data is sent, so they expire two years after the most recent visit; browsers may impose shorter limits.

When the tag loads, your browser sends the page URL and IP address to Google. Google states that Google Analytics 4 uses IP addresses for service operation and coarse location, does not associate raw IP addresses with user identifiers, and discards them after use. Raw IP addresses are not available to Tectova in Analytics.

Analytics information is sent to and processed by Google. Google's handling of information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and its Privacy Policy. User-level and event-level data is deleted according to the retention setting for Tectova's Analytics property. Tectova does not export that data into its own user database. Google notes that its Analytics retention control does not apply to standard aggregated reports.

Your choices

You can limit Analytics cookies through your browser's privacy settings, delete existing cookies, block Google Analytics requests with browser or content-blocking controls, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect how repeat visits are counted.

Changes and contact

We will update this page if Tectova changes the information it collects or how that information is used. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
