What Tectova shows and why

Tectova is an editorial reference for the fashion industry's public record. Profile pages may show one photograph so a documented person is recognisable alongside their runway and credit history, the same purpose a portrait serves in any industry reference or news article. We do not sell photographs, license them onward, or use them in advertising.

Where the photographs come from

Profile photographs are drawn from publicly available professional sources: agency boards that publish talent portfolios, and public industry profiles. For a small number of profiles we use openly licensed photographs from Wikimedia Commons; those are labelled with the author and licence the licence requires. We record the source of every photograph we publish and can identify the origin of any image on the site on request.

Corrections and removal

If you are the subject of a photograph, its photographer, or an agent or rights holder for either, and you want an image corrected, replaced, or removed, email [email protected] with the link to the page. You do not need to prove anything elaborate: tell us who you are and what you want changed.

We review requests promptly and carefully, although we cannot promise a response time or a particular outcome. After review, we may correct, replace, restrict, or remove an image. We may ask only for enough information to understand your authority or the concern. If we remove an image, we remove it from our published set and delivery cache.

This remains the simplest route for a request about a particular image. For a formal copyright notice or a broader request involving privacy, personal safety, impersonation, or another legal right, see Takedown Requests for the information that helps us review it.
